Welcome to the official web site of the Mustang & Shelby Club of Long Island!  We are a regional club of the Mustang Club of America (MCA).  We have a variety of events throughout the year including Mustang shows, cruises, parties and barbeques.  Feel free to "cruise our site" and see what we're all about, what we have coming up and where we've been.

A Little Background on the Club

In 2006 Classic Mustang merged with LIMSOC to form a new club with the MCA charter, that new club became the Mustang & Shelby Club of Long Island (MSCLI). The officers were Perry Los Kamp as President, Rick Wertz, and Mike Basile, Vice Presidents, Nancy Barker Treasurer and Rich Carlsen as Secretary. Shortly after the merger, Carl Vosen replaced Perry as President. The club decided to have two monthly meetings; the business meeting at Marjorie Post Park in Massapequa, NY, and a dinner meeting at the Hauppauge Palace Diner on Route 347 in Hauppauge, Suffolk County, NY.

MSCLI celebrated its fifth anniversary by hosting an MCA National Show in June 2011 (Mustangs at the Beach) at the SandsPoint Preserve in Port Washington, N.Y. This was the first National MCA show in New York State.

Today the MSCLI consists of hundreds of Mustang and Shelby enthusiasts, along with members with other great Ford vehicles. MCLI members all share the same passion and enthusiasm for their classics to the latest modern cars.
